The course was developed in partnership by The Refugee Law Project, UNHCR, ICRC and Medecins Sans Frontieres. The course is designed to provide mid-level and senior humanitarian managers with the knowledge, competencies and skills required to conceive multidisciplinary survivor-centred interventions in the field of sexual violence prevention and response, both adapted to specific contexts and as an integral part of humanitarian operations. It is a joint centre of the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. It is one of the few institutes dedicated to the study of humanitarian action.
